Safety of employees is a matter of great concern. Employees are expected to comply with health and safety standards involced in the safe handeling and application of herbicides. This means wearing long sleeved shirts, leather boots and rubber gloves. Safety glasses are to be worn at all times in the shop, the yard and in the field when herbicides are being handeled or aplied.
We provide Petroleum Education Coucil orientation for employees together with First Aide, CPR, well safety and Hydrogen Sulfide ( poisonous gas sometimes encountered on well locations) safety training.
We have an extensive Drug and Alcohol Policy that complies with both Federal Highway and Research and Special Projects provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations. New employees must take a pre-hire drug screening test and all employees are subject to random drug and alcohol tests and tests in the event of reasonble suspicion of use or in the event of an accident.
